Our Mission
We create stronger communities in every building by connecting people through simple, smart, and engaging digital platforms.
Our Story
Circl was co-founded by brothers Joe Tanham and Peter Tanham, uniting deep property know-how with cutting-edge technology and policy expertise.

Joe Tanham has over a decade of experience managing large multi-tenanted office buildings, logistics parks, and commercial property portfolios across Ireland. In his work as a property manager, Joe recognised a growing need for a more community-focused approach to property management. Office occupiers were no longer looking only for functional buildings — they wanted workplaces that supported culture, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.

This need became even clearer in the aftermath of COVID-19, when remote working changed employee expectations. As companies began encouraging staff to return to the office, they required more support from landlords than ever before. Employers looked for collaborative efforts with building owners and managers to make the workplace a destination — one that offered not just desks, but a sense of community, opportunities for connection, and engaging shared spaces. Joe saw that digital tools could bridge this gap, giving landlords the ability to support their tenants’ retention strategies while also elevating the overall building experience.

Peter Tanham brings over 15 years of expertise in product management, advertising technologies, and public policy, combined with a strong entrepreneurial background. He is the co-founder of SparkPage, a customer lifecycle marketing platform, and previously led an analytics company. Today, Peter works as a Data Policy Manager at Meta and contributes to TTC Labs, where he focuses on AI transparency, user trust, and digital accountability. His blend of technology leadership and regulatory insight ensures that Circl builds digital platforms that are both innovative and ethical.

Together, Joe and Peter created Circl to help landlords reimagine the role of office buildings — not just as places to work, but as thriving communities where employees want to be.
